Student Achievements

Students at Open Box Education Centre leave our school with the resources needed to move on to their chosen destination.

 

In July 2024 all eight Year 11 students left with a literacy and numeracy qualification that reflected their ability and supported their post-16 destination.

 

One of our students achieved seven GCSE passes, including English, Maths and Science two at Grade 4, four at Grade 5 and one at Grade 6. 

Another student achieved six GCSEs at Grade 2 to 4, including English, Maths and Science.

Five of our students achieved Functional Skills in Maths and English at Level 1 or 2.

 

All of our students left school at the end of Year 11 with a place secured on their chosen post-16 pathway.

Level 2 Brickwork – Colchester Institute 

Level 2 Hospitality – Harlow College 

Level 2 Beauty Apprenticeship – Halls of Ivy 

Level 1 Brickwork – CTP, Harlow 

Year 2 Supported Studies – Harlow College 

EOTAS Music specialist package – Zinc Arts and Noise Solution in Ongar/Harlow 

Level 2 Creative Media - Big Creative Education 

Level 3 Animal Care Management – Writtle College
